The Voice of a Friend
You could help your neighbors stay engaged and connected to our community when your eyes become their eyes, and your voice becomes the voice of a friend. Did you know that social isolation and related heath consequences are very real and increasing problems today? When Valley Eye Radio provides local news - from city newspapers to community journals and gazettes - we help our friends and family members stay informed, interested, and involved.
But it's about more than information. It's about real human voices. Our listeners get to know our readers' voices and names and personalities. They hear the day's news in these voices and know they are being kept up-to-date by friends. Would you like to lend your voice?
Volunteer today! You can come to our studios in Building 101 in the STCC Tech Park off State Street (across from the STCC college campus on Federal Street). You might also record programs right in your own home. Call us - or better yet - give us some information using the form below and we'll contact you soon.
“It has been a great resource for my mom!! Thank you so much. She is legally blind and it empowers her to hear local news and obituaries. Thank you for all you do there.”
